miyya

مِيّة

We pronounce the t of miyya when it’s followed by a noun.

Examples:

– miyyat7d مية واحد = A hundred person.

– miyyat bnt مية بنت = A hundred girls.

– miyyat tlmîd مية تلميد = A hundred students.

101- miyya w wâ7d مية و واحد

102- miyya w jôj – مية و جوج

103- miyya w tlâta – مية و تلاتة

The same rule of making and become w instead of o is applied here, as miyya (one hundred) ends with a vowel.
