I am not able to understand why you have been comparing the big bang theory with the Islam, there is no connection between then and this is the reason why I have been very much interested in this thing. There are lots of things that I would like to tell about it, but first I want to know the reason of this connection.

ok find sth that hasnt connection with islam and i'll give you 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 $

willam, The reason we're discussing it is because they're related..
Islam says God created the universe whereas the big bang theory says the world came into existence in a different way, via a "bang",
hmmm.... maybe it was God who created the bang... and then the universe?
wallahu 3lam

thank you very much for the info, yeah it's always a pain in the neck debating with atheists who read a lil bit abt science and they think they know it all, that's why they are called half educated people, if they read much more then they would figure out such an amazing universe can't be created out of nothing and this is why most of the scholars in this world do believe in god/religion
some muslim/islamic apologists like yahya harun claimed that the "big bang" is described in Quran: surah 21, verse 30
"Have not "those who disbelieve" known heavens and earth were of one piece, we parted them and, We made every living thing of water will they not then believe?"
so to answer my friend willamtarker, if you don't think the creation of this universe has nothing to do with Islam then how are we supposed to know about our creator? Islam is a message to our hearts and our minds as well. There is a new science now concerned about the scientific miracles in Quran and Hadith have a glance at zaghloul al najjar's site so you have an idea about what i'm talking about(http://www.elnaggarzr.com/en/index.php) ... well some scholars, mainly the salafis, reject such kind of interpretations to Quranic verses and say we should stick to the "tafseer" of the prophet pbuh and His companions so we won't go astray from the straight path ... to sum up, everything has to do with islam and that's why Allah swt has told us in Quran everything we need to know to believe in Him and follow the teachings of His final Messenger pbuh.
